How to add Yahoo mail and install basic apps on Dell Streak 7?
Hello,
I couldn't seem to automatically add my Yahoo email account to my DS7. So, after trying for several weeks, I realized that I could look up the mail settings on my android phone device. Taking that a step further, I searched via Google and found IMAP mail settings that allowed me to add my Yahoo mail account to my DS7.
Just thought I'd post this here for anyone else who may also need this info.
Now, I'm looking for a "file explorer/manager" utility that will allow me to read files on my device.

<< you can get Yahoo! Mail on your phone. Using IMAP you can download messages with your mobile client, so you can access your mail even when not connected to the mobile Internet.
How to set up Yahoo! Mail with your mobile client using IMAP
On your phone, press < Home >, then open the Email application.
On the 'Your accounts' page, select Next to get started with setup.
Enter your full Yahoo! address and password, then select Next.
On the next screen, you can give the account a nickname and choose the name to display on your outgoing messages. Tap Done.
If automatic configuration does not work, choose manual setup and use the information provided here:
Incoming Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Incoming Port - 993 (requires SSL)
Outgoing Port - 465 (requires SSL)
Username: full email address (bill@yahoo.com)
Password: is the password you login to Yahoo! with

While looking for a File Explorer/Manager utility, I'm also looking for a wireless printing utility and other functions that will make my Streak 7 a bit more like an extension of my laptop/desktop rather than a simple browsing device. Please reply with app download suggestions. Thanks.

I use a powerful app called File Expert, a free app in the Android market. Please explain how you setup yahoo mail.

I think I may have found an android print utility. It's called Printershare. Found it on CNET. I'll have to test it out and post an update when done.
