Thanks

Mine has it and I didn't get the 3G model. I don't know if the new Essential model has it or not. Dell has to have the worst marketing department ever. Features that people are looking for shouldn't be that hard to get information on.

Thanks. When did you buy it and what version did you get? Twice now I have contacted their live chat and in both cases they said they don't have a dedicated GPS chip in them. One said I have to get the WWAN option in order to get 3G then I would get GPS graham

I got the ST2 model which was the only model offered when I ordered it last Nov. I have had it about a week now. The customer service reps seem like the only things they go by are what the website says which is the same thing I can read myself. The website doesn't give very much information. I was a little disappointed waiting for the tablet to arrive because I didn't think it had GPS and I had wanted it so I was pleasantly surprised when I got it and it had it. I almost waited for the WWAN model because I had thought that was the only model to offer GPS, I'm glad I didn't wait. On a side note, it is a solid unit that I'm very pleased with. It's not a powerhouse processor but is OK. Sometimes there is some lag but overall a nice unit. Windows 8 is definitely the way to go and I got bluestacks installed last night so I can even run android apps. Why would anyone get a tablet that can run only android apps, this thing runs everything. Battery life is very good. I get about 8.5 hours per charge with heavy usage.
