Venue 11 Pro - extract BIOS ROM to bypass the windows BIOS update failure?

I understand that there are ongoing issues with Venue 11 Pro 7130/7139 BIOS update issues and I have done my study, however I am opening this thread as an alternative way to update the BIOS.

Since I am another victim that stuck on A06 BIOS and couldn’t update to anything >A06 (the machine reboots straight into windows rather than the BIOS updating programme), I noticed that when entering the BIOS setup menu, there is an option to update the BIOS file directly without booting to Windows and execute the .exe file. I’m wondering is there any way to extract the BIOS ROM file from the .exe file so that I might be able to update the BIOS directly.

I tried the switch /writeromfile but it seems that this switch is not enabled in the .exe file.

Anyone any thoughts? Any help is very much appreciated.
