Use the Service Tag to ascertain warranty, hardware, software

* Enter the PC Service Tag in the blank
* Click Search
* For this example, I will use the Service Tag from my out of warranty Alienware Area-51 R2 desktop
* The main overview page shows my expired warranty



* Clicking "View Warranty Details" shows when the Area-51 R2 shipped (start date) and the warranties


* Back on the main overview page, clicking "View system configuration" shows all hardware and software



* Clicking the down arrow right of any listing shows the specifics. So for my memory, it shows the Dell five digit part number, number of DIMMs installed
