2TB limit on Block vVol?

Hi,

Trying to move a VM with a disk size 1.99 TB I got an error "Error caused by file ..vmdk"

Vmware says :

This issue occurs if the block size of the destination datastore does not support a VMDK as large as the source.

Is there any predefined limit in this regards?

Isn't that a limit from ESX in the size of the vmdk? glen

Definitely Not. The ESXi version is 6 which supports this size and the vm is already hosted in a host and data is stored on a HPE MSA 2040 storage

maximum vVol size on Unity currently is 16TB please open a service request to get this investigated
