Does Unity block import from VNX support 50+ luns in a CG
Hi All,
We have hosts to be migrated from VNX to Unity. One host has 76 luns. I plan to put them in one CG instead of creating migration session one lun each. However, Unity only support CG up to 50. How do I migrate this host using the block import feature? Thanks.

you need to stay within the limits or it wont work

Here is the link to VNX® Series Data Import to Dell EMC Unity™ All Flash or Hybrid, or UnityVSA™ System User Guide. If you look on page 93 it explains how you want to import Consistency Groups.

Thank you. But it doesn't say what will happen if I migrate 50+ luns. Unity only supports up to 50 in a CG.

The message I got from support is to create 2 CG for this host and migrate the CG separately. Thanks.
