Does Unity has Sniffer function ?
Hi experts
Does Unity has sniffer ( or sort of ) function ?
It seems there is but not sure it actually works ...

Refer the command "svc_tcpdump -help" , it can capture the network traffic.

Additional question ... if you know ...
Is there any function check ALL physical drive within Unity data integrity ( include HS ) ? Like background verify in vnx .
Is there any function check Usage of Flash drive ?
Is there any function in Unity proactive drive replacement ? ( PACO in VNX ... )

Hi Aya,
-Yes there is Background verify in Unity. Customers are not allowed to run this tool, let us know if you want us to execute this for any particular reason, and we’ll assist.
-Regarding Flash, Unisphere provides you the usage information for both flash and not flash disks.
-PACO doesn’t exist as a customer allowed functionality. Support can be engaged to assist in case a proactive copy is required for some specific reason.
