Error while adding vcenter
I am trying to add vcenter to unity600f. But it is failing with following error:
Incorrect Network Name or Address - Error Code:409
I can ping my vcenter by both name and IP. I don't know what am I doing wrong.
Any idea?

kkra,
Check to see if you have any ports blocked between Unity and vCenter.
According to the EMC Unity All Flash, EMC Unity Hybrid, EMC UnityVSA 4.0 Security Configuration Guide (linked below) you'll need to have port 843 open:

Hi kkra,
Could you tells us a bit more about the problem? How exactly are you adding the vCenter?
Are you entering just the IP address of the vCenter? Or are you trying something like:
https:// /vsphere-client/
Try just with the IP address itself and that should work.

Hi Andre,
Thank you for reply. I am trying to add vcenter by just IP address. And it says incorrect network name or address. Error code: 409.

Thanks Matthew.
It worked. Ports 443 and 843 need to be open between unity and vcenter.
