For Host Groups, I assume you mean LUN groups?

This can be achieved by creating Consistency Groups (Unisphere > Storage > Block > Consistency Groups).

You can bundle LUNs together and just present them as a whole to a host.

A consistency goups is an other thing as "Storage Groups"

Snapshots will snap all luns in the consitency group.

Also consistency groups cannot be use for Vmware datastore luns
