Hello,
I would recommend reviewing this document for questions regarding NFS shares and Unity.

re above
export options are
none
read
read/write
read-only, allow root
read/write, allow root
where it says allow root = no ( root ) squash
where is does not say allow root = ( root ) squash which is I think the all_squash option you are after. I would suggest set it up and test to it works as you expect.

Hi,
Y tried but not.
'allow root =no' means root squash: only the client user root is seen as nobody on the nfs share, not all the user (what I am looking for)

Hello
I am facing the same limitation.
How can we set export option "all_squash" ? I can't find this parameter on dell unity.
Unity version 5.2.2
Best regards

by default its all squash, you have explicitly export to hosts with no squash. This is I suspect the desired default, i.e. export with least privilege's

Hello, thank you for your answer. Unfortunatly, I don't really understand your solution.
I tried the following parameters:
read/write : root user write with anon uid/gid, others users write with their uid/gid
read/write allow root: root user write with 0:0, others users write with their uid/gid
all_squash option usually works like that :
root user write with anon uid/gid, others users write with anon uid/gid too
source: man page (https://linux.die.net/man/5/exports)
How can we set export option "all_squash" ? I can't find this parameter on dell unity.
Best regards
