How to update Recovery Image?

Hi,

having worked with VNX for several years, I learned that after doing an OE update, you should always do a Recovery Image update as well. This was easily done using the Service Manager, you just clicked Software update and pointed to the .bin-file, and it would perform the image update in about 25 minutes. The point of this is, if your system crashed and you have to do a recovery, the recovery image will be in the same version as the OE you are recovering. If not you may be in trouble when you least want it.

Now,

For the Unity, I can download a software update and easily upgrade using the web gui. I can also download the Unity OE Recovery Image from the support site. But WHAT do I do with it?? How do I install it?

I've googled, opened a ticket, asked my EMC reps... noone knows or even understands the question.
