Share/Export naming on Multiprocol Unity NAS

Question

Hi,

I have created a multiprotocol NAS server on our Unity system and would like the create both an NFS export and a CIFS share that point to the same folder in the filesystem, however I do not want the names to be the same.

Is it possible to have different export/share names?

You are right. I was under the misguided impression that because the initial/first share on a multiprotocol filesystem has to be named the same, that the rest also had to follow that standard. Now I see that I can create NFS exports and CIFS shares with whatever names I want and still point them to the same place on the filesystem. Thanks :)
