Trouble with downloading the Unity VSA .OVA file

Question

I have been trying to download the Free Unity VSA .ova file and it is not working. After clicking the link to download it asks me to login which I do. This brings another window that says to download. I click there. A pop up window opens which looks like it is attempting to go to the following address http://downloads.emc.com/emc-com/auth/usa/UnityVSA/UnityVSA-4.0.0.7329527.ova . This window eventually times out and states..

An error occurred while processing your request.

The reference code does change every time though. I have tried using multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome). I have even updated all of the browsers as well as tried downgraded version to no avail. Is anyone else having problems with the download link? Is there another link that we can use to get the .OVA file?

Yes – for some reason download via https works whereas the regular download linking to http doesn’t. I will let EMC IT know to troubleshoot

the download page has now been changed to https and should now work.

Please let me know whether it works for you or not.
