Unity 350F how to assign IP ADDRESS SPB MGMT
Hello
I have already assigned the IP address MGMT SPA, I access the Unisphere.
But in case of unavailability of the SPA the Unisphere is no longer available.
I checked the configuration management port SPB does not have an IP address.
How to assign a managment IP address to the SPB?

The management IP address floats between the two SPs so you only need one IP address for management. So in the event that SPA becomes unavailable or the network port for the mgmt fails, the management services and IP address will move automatically to the other SP.

I agree with you, that's what I thought too but case of reboot of the SPA, the transfer of IP address to the SPB does not work

Thank you you're right you just have to wait 5 minutes, switching IP address is good.

Yes it takes a couple of minutes to bring up the management services on the second SP (data service switch immediately of course).
You should also be able to test the movement of the mgmt IP by simply pulling the mgmt cable out of the SP which is running the mgmt IP address. That should also force the services to move.

you can also test with ping and ssh into the mgmt IP
ssh login is available immediately
getting the management service started can take a few minutes
