Unity 650F Density-Based IOPS limit

Hello, we are using a Unity 650F with Density-Based IO limit set at LUN level. The limit is 1 per GB and he have 6TB LUN. So the overall limit for the LUN is 6000. The question is : if we have a VM that resides on that LUN that has a 100GB disk, would that VM be limited at 100IOPS ? Or can it hit 6000IOPS? Assuming it's the only VM on that LUN. Thank you!

The limit applies to the whole LUN, so the LUN as a whole cannot drive more than 6000 IOPS.  That means if you only have one VM on there, it can go to the full limit.
