Unity Configuration report
Hi.
Apart from Unity Designer which requires a different file type to generate a usable report (and is available to Dell partners not the customers that actually use them), does any one know of a tool that takes the standard Unity 'Save Configuration' HTML file and creates a more concise and usable report exportable in .xls or other formats? Apart from Unity, we also have many VNX arrays and the configuration report you get from those through USM are far superior and more useful compared to the Unity ones (which seem to have taken a big step back!).
Alternatively, does anyone know if there are plans for future versions of Unity code to include a better version of the Save Config output, maybe with a 'replay' option which would allow users to use the output to automatically configure a new array (after a catastrophe, say) with the information from the report (like HP's EVA could do back as far back as early 200x)?
Thanks

Hello Mossman69,
In unisphere you can go to Service & then select Service tasks. Once in service task, you can select Save Configuration. That will save the configuration of your unity system.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
