Dear Unity Experts, I understand that a Unity hot spare policy is very important to protect the data on the box, but I'm now in need of the storage capacity than protection. Unlike VNX2 I can add all of the to the Pool or RAID Group, in Unity I can only add the disks to Pool with fixed RAID configuration plus hot spare. Question: Can I have a option to temporary disable hot spare policy, configure a Pool, adding more disks in a next few weeks then enable the hot spare policy. Thanks.  Tien.

Hi, there is no functionality do disable the hotspare policy present in the Unity code. How many disks do you currently have?
