Unity VSA Licensing problems

Hi,

Need assistance with obtaining Community License for Unity VSA.

Using this site:

https://www.delltechnologies.com/en-us/auth/elmeval.htm

and this UUID:

Removed by Moderator 

Using different browsers, and trying at different times -

Repeatedly getting:

"There is an issue connecting to license server. Please try after sometime or contact the administrator."

Seeing numerous posts in this forum on Unity VSA licensing problems.

Can someone please correct the issue(s) with licensing and/or provide a license?

Hello jay133,

I used the UUID that you posted and it is stating the following, “The UUID entered already exists. Validate your System UUID or contact our World Wide License Support team below for additional assistance. Contact EMCs live support team by calling - 800-782-4362, option 4, option 4 (24 X 7)”

Me too, the VSA license page is not working.
It was issued normally in July, but not now.

I need help.

Hello hihong,

Have you tried to use a different browser?  I have checked and the site is up and active.  You should be able to download the license as long as you have a valid UUID.

Hi Sam L,

Thanks for your suggestion.

I called the Licensing Support phone number you provided, on two occasions, but they were unable to help.

The Licensing Support system requires a pre-existing serial number, but because each Unity VSA creates a new serial number when it is created, the Licensing Support is unable to find a serial and provide a license.

I deleted the original VSA, and created a new one, with a new UUID.

And I've repeatedly tried to use the license site:

https://www.delltechnologies.com/en-us/auth/elmeval.htm

over the last couple of weeks but it has not been working.

I've made sure I was logged in successfully, tried different browsers, and cleared the browser cache.

The repeated response is always: "Not connected. Verify network".

I've seen other recent postings that report other people been having the same problem.

Over the last weeks I've been waiting and checking every so often to see if the problem has been corrected, but finally decided to reach out to you again. 

I do want to move ahead with this and get the VSA license.

Please see what can be done to get the license server website working.

And please let me know when I can get a license.

I can provide a UUID if needed.

I keep getting the same "Not connected. Verify network" over and over again. Although I got it to work only once (I'm not sure how) but unfortunately the license didn't work for my dual SP UnityVSA installation so I had to re-install a single-SP instance and generate another license key (Since the UUID changed), but I couldn't get the site to do it again.
I feel like this issue is related the SSO/authentication on the delltechnologies.com domain. I got a similar issue when trying to access training courses on the partner portal a while ago so we opened a case with support and it got fixed.

Please let us know if there's a update on this issue or if there is a workaround we can try.

hi everyone

I get this error every time I try "There is an issue connecting to the license server. Please try after sometime or contact the administrator". I tried with different browsers and the problem still persists Even with version 5.1, 5.3 and 5.4, the problem persists

This is my uuid: 8294AE1AB-BF9E-7DA8-6E37-9D04CB4DEA7E

Can anyone help me?

We don''t have the ability to create licenses, Sam sent the download and not the license. You may be able to get a license from the license team, Contact the Dell EMC Support Line by calling 800-782-4362, option 4, option 4

We are working to resolve the license server issue. We are not able to provide you a license and you will need to contact License team at the info list in a previous post.
