Unity Vvole Configuration issues

Question

Hi,

I have problem with this vvole configurations.

i created 32TB vmware datastore on my unity 300 box.after that i created 2 capability profiles.(26TB and

6TB).

After that i will tried to create new datastore on vcenter.i need to add 26TB capacity on my vmware but its showing 16TB only.

It has a limitation?

How can i mount Total capacity on my vcenter?

HI Rainer Thanks for reply This not a VNX box its UNity 300 which Unity OE version ?  4.2.0.9433914 which VMware version ?6.5 Thanks keerthi

Are you sure you are reading the VMware info correctly ?

I think the "Maximum Disk Size" means that 16TB is the max for a single vVol and NOT the size of the vVol data store.

Are you trying to create a VM with a disk larger than 16TB ?

Hi Sorry for delay reply. VM disk size 16TB its correct,but datastore cant cerate more than 16 TB. But now we are using block storage for vmware. Thanks

data store larger than 16TB should work - upgrade to the latest Unity OE

Its lates os.we upgraded it 4.2 os.
