Unity iscsi/windows/hyper-v

Hi there,

I am setting up Unity300 for the first time with iSCSI LUNS, connection from windows2016, which will be for hyper-v in subsequent steps

Looking to check the setup, and find out any specific best practices/configurations for iscsi/win2k16/hyper-v

Thanks.

Here are the interfaces on Unity, on 192.168.10.x and on 192.168.11.x

First NIC on 192.168.10.x and Second NIC on 192.168.11.x

Please see KB 467477 - the iSCSI setup for hosts is the same for Unity as the VNX. Each host should have two interfaces (NIC), each on a separate subnet and there should be two subnets for the SP ports (your configuration is correct).

https://support.emc.com/kb/463477 UNity/VNX/CLARiiON: Facts, limitations, and recommended settings when using iSCSI (User Correctable)

You should also disabled TCP Delayed ACK on each host (including and VM's). https://support.emc.com/kb/468345

You'll probably also want to review the following White Papers:
