We need to understand what is EOL means

What happens when the drives reaches EOL.

What action customer has to take.

Basically when a product goes end of life it means the manufacturer is no longer supporting it, due to things like, age, spares availability etc.

As your posting this in the Unity forum i dont think you will have to worry about EOL for a while.

If a disk goes EOL and the system it goes into is still supported then there will be various replacements

If you're referring to EOL on SSDs (so they've run out of drive endurance), you will be alerted multiple times in advance of that happening starting from 180 days out.  SSDs which have come to the end of their drive endurance will be replaced under warranty.
