mixing drives and raid type in flash pool
hi,
is it possible to mix for example disk 3.2TB (8+1 raid5) with a (4+1 raid 5) disk 1.6TB in a all flash pool unity ?

Hi Benoit,
You can't mix RAID type within the same tier in a pool. You'll have to create different storage pool.

It cannot be supported to mix RAID in all-flash pool, please check the following info.

hi and thanks for the answers, the doc says it is recommended to not mixing, but it doesn't say it is not allowed, so I would like to known technicaly, it is possible even it is not recommended.

If you want to mix the RAID in one pool, it only can be supported on FAST VP.
