Can I expand a striped RDF1+TDEV meta device?

I reviewd the EMC Solutions Enabler Symmetrix Array Controls CLI Product Guide for SE V7.2 but I am still not clear if I can expand an exisiting RDF1+TDEV meta on VMAX array: Microcode Version (Number) 5875.198.148. SE v7.2. RDF1_TDEV meta = 1ba7 BCV+TDEV meta = 1788 symconfigure -sid 93 -cmd 'add dev 168c:168e to meta 1ba7, protect_data=TRUE, bcv_meta_head=1788;' preview   Execute a symconfigure operation for symmetrix '000192601793' (y/ ) ? y A Configuration Change operation is in progress. Try converting RDF1_TDEV  to TDEV and then try to expand it . After exapnsion again conver it back to rdf TDEV

you cant expand RDF meta until you delete the RDF pairing and expand both sides
