Unisphere for VMAX performance viewer

this viewer looks like a good tool, and would help CS talk apples to apples with the customers related to performance issues.   the only problem our PC's are all 32 bit W7.  per IT support this is the standard.

Will there ever be a 32bit version of this tool or should we plan to convert our PC's to a 64 bit W7 OS to use this tool?

as far as I can tell there wont be a 32 bit version of Unisphere line of products because it requires more than 4 GB ram to run and 32 bit SMC/SPA wasnt doing good in a big environment.

We are new to EMC and are using Unisphere. I can say I do like it and the reporting and performance features are great. You should be able to run Unisphere from any 64 bit OS as long as you have the Java JRE and Flash. Do you have a 64 bit server (like Windows 2008 R2) you could access the utility from?

Hope that helps,

Steven
