modify port group
hi,
due to the high utilisation of some port group i want to modify the port group of some masking view, i use tree platforms esx,linux,windows
and i want to know if that possible without a downtime ?
the best way to do it ?

Hi,
You can modify existing port groups to move around the FA's, add new ones, and remove ones you no longer want in use (might need to use -force). As far as it being online, it should be online as long as you leave at least one path/port online in your masking view and you host MPIO software can handle the changes online.
Check out the SE Array Controls Guide - there is a section on adding and removing ports from port groups with any caveats it might have.

thank you for the response.
the idea here is to move some making view from Port group to another, so modify the port group of masking view
i have already another port group free.
