CIFS file level reporting
Does anyone have a question on a reasonably priced file analysis and reporting tool for VNX CIFS? What I need to know:
1. file\folder size
2. file types
3. storage growth
Your input is appreciated.

yes M&R is reasonably priced (included with VNX) but it wont look inside file systems - i.e. it wont be able to report on file sizes and type
It does cover file system size/used and growth there on a fs basis

Thank you. We are running monitor and reporting. Unfortunately it does not give me the granular detail I need. I need to see deeper into the file system. To include file type (pst, doc, iso, mp3 etc).

Integrated with VNX are products from NTP and Northern Storage
Or a plenthora of Windows applications that can scan network drives from free to enterprise priced.
The question there is how they scale and how well they can consolidate the drive scans and reporting.
