Celerra Data Mover Security Management Console

Microsoft Management Console (MMC)

After installation you will not find it in Start Menu. Since this is a MMC snap-in, you should open MMC and add this snap-in.

1. Open MMC by typing 'mmc' in the run prompt. Click on File > Add/Remove Snap-in...
2. In the Add or Remove Snap-ins window, select 'Data Mover Management' and add it.
3. In the 'Data Mover Management' window you need to type  in the CIFS server name or IP address. Click Finish to save. If you have multiple CIFS servers you may have to add it again. You can view multiple servers in the same console.

You can manage three components through this MMC console.

• AntiVirus --> To manage CAVA settings.
• Data Mover Security Settings --> It is similar to a windows host Local security settings. You can manage Audit Policy and User Rights Assignment here.
• HomeDir --> You can manage Home Directory management feature thru this.
