Creating a new data interconnect

Question

I am in the process of creating data interconnects between a VNX (7.0.53-1) and celerra (5.6.52-2) for migration purpose using ip replicator. I created the interconnect from the celerra side but I end up with the following error from the VNX side.  Error 10248: HTTP communication problem: Time skew between local and remote system cell_0847 may exceed 10 minutes OR nas_cel passphrase mismatch OR network issue. I checked the sever_date and it matches on both the data mover and I checked the passphrase too and they are the same. The interfaces use FSN devices and as a test I have connected three interfaces from each FSN on both the data movers in the interconnect. Can anyone suggest any other solutions to the problem. Are there any other ways to check connectivity other than nas_cel -list ?

The error message actualy refers to the time on the control stations.

I checked the time on the control stations and they are the same. Is there any way of creating a data interconnect from the VNX using the GUI just like the celerra manager.

Yes..i think there was a replication wizard that walks you through the steps.

Two things. - I used a dedicated device for the replication rather than use the fsn device. - Running nas_cel –update id=(id of the remote cell connection) on both control stations And it worked.

Hi,

I was having the same error and spent an hour+. As the error was about the time, I was keep on executing the command server_date ALL and modifying the date & time. Even I tried the NTP settings to fix. Even afer

But, the difference on the output what I was getting from commands "server_date ALL" and "date".

I used the command "date" on both the NAS and modified the remote NAS with command "date --set xxxxxxx"

It worked
