Does Apple XSan 2.2 work with VNX or VNXe? maybe Isilon?

I have a customer who has all his environment running on Apple servers

 Mac OS, Leopard or higher .

 Apple , Xsan 2

 Final Cut Studio 3 .

 Avid Media Composer 6 or higher .

 Adobe Collection CS 5 or higher .

 Autodesk Smoke 2013 .

and he wants a storage that supports Apple Xsan 2.2 , apple has recommended a storage vendor called PROMISE technologies for this, does anyone know if it’s supported on VNXe or VNX, maybe isilon?
