Does Celerra Monitor take into account Write Penalty?
Looking at a file system that has the following IO:
1000 Write Requests
950 Read Requests
1950 Total Requests
Does the 1000 Write requests take into account Write Penalty (Raid 5 x4, Raid 1/0 x2)?

Since the Celerra just hands IO requests back to the storage array (Clariion or Symmetrix), it would not consider RAID effects in it's performance numbers. You would need to calculate that or use the backend array's performance tools (Analyzer for CX, SPA for Symmetrix) to see what the IO load looks like at the array front end and disk level.
