the user you gave is incorrect, no user called "root" with password "nasadmin" for unity.

Find out the admin password (the same one that allows to the Unisphere GUI) and provide that.

Example:

uemcli -d 128.221.252.12 -u admin -p Password123# /net/if

Ok. Thanks. But I using VNX VG2 Storage System (Linux). Unisphere Client and umecli is installed in windows client system. Unisphere GUI is perfectly worked using of "root & nasadmin" credential in windows , same credential i used in uemcli - it didn't worked. Please give a solution.

UEMCLI does NOT work with VNX VG2

for that if you cant to configure NAS replication you have to ssh into the control Station and use the CLI there

please go to support.emc.com

select support by product

select VNX VG2

select Documentation

select Manuals and Guides

and get the VG2 Manuals - esp. the CLI reference guide for file

you may refer the links i posted with your other thread.

From what you trying to, you are trying to create Replication Interconnect on a VNX File.

Refer the Replication Guide for Interconnect details. For actual CLI, you can refer the manual with information about : server_ifconfig, nas_cel commands.

I see this is old ticket, but comes up today as first link when look up VBR 12 (error msg as above with 0x60000001 error code)>

Prior to using Veeam Console, I went to UNITY 450F and added new user "vbrbackup" with Admin role and strong credentials.

I am logged into Veeam VBR Console, and on Storage Infrastructure Tab and right clicked my Dell EMC UNITY 450F and did edit.   When to credentials, I used Manage Account and added new user and credentials.  Now when I select vbrbackup (Unity) instead of 'admin' (UNITY) -- I get this error.

Q. Is the permissions about the AD domain account I logged into VBR console with (I am full admin, use PowerCLI/VBR commands all the time) -- or is it saying the remote vbrbackup account on UNITY doesn't have permissions.  Thanks in advance, Tim

Hi,
Thank you for your question.
First thing I would check is that the password doesn’t have unsupported special characters. https://dell.to/3RYRjrl If that isn’t the issue it sounds like it is the vbrbackup account. Does it work if you use the admin account?

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
