Host Initiator Logged in "No" in SP B 0 for all serevrs in VNX-5300

Hi All,


I am seeing Host Initiator Logged in "No" in one of our VNX-5300 Storage array. Recently we have migrated all the servers from Clariion CX3-80 to VNX-5300 Storage array. Could any one please chech the below screen shot and provide your suggestions on this.

The above erreor is visible for all servers

Hi,

Since you have mentioned that the Host Initiator are showing Logged in as "No" in SP-B 0 for all servers, have you checked if there is any Port Failure in the array?

Just check the port (SPB-0)status physically and also verify from switch that the port is logged in. If it is showing no connectivity with the switch, check for bad cable or SFP in port B0.

Hi

All you have to concentrate here is physical connectivity, zoning, check for bad SFPs..between the hosts HBA and SPB ports. If connectivity is proper..the initiators has to log-in automatically with array ports. Verify the SPB ports also.
