How to reset disk drive?
I have a vnx 5300 and have an alert about disk faulted. In the unisphere -> hardware -> disk list it's shown as "removed".
The recommended action is to "reseat the disk drive" but I don't know how to do that.
How can I reset a disk drive?

Once you identified the physical location of the drive in the enclosure, it is easy to reseat a drive. You have pull out the drive by pulling the small latch in front. Once the drive LEDs are off wait for 20-30 seconds for the drive to spin down. You may reinsert the drive after a minute (unless it is told to reinsert after 10-15 minutes for the drive to cool down).
