EMC has a wealth of information on its Support site, but it can sometimes be overwhelming.

One resource worth checking out is Youtube.  EMC has a number of videos on specific features of the VNX, including performing many things in the Unisphere GUI and CLI.  You can start at EMC - YouTube and find many things there.

You can also find Introduction to the VNX: A Detailed Review and similar documentation on the Support site, but you'll probably find this a lot of information to digest.  You can find it on the Support siteI suggest you skim it, come up with questions (no matter how basic!) then search the EMC Community Pages for those concepts - I'll bet you'll find someone has already asked the same question!

Let us know if that helps!

This is a great document that covers most of what you're asking:

In addition to all the great recommendations, I'd also like to suggest the following "My Documents" (UPD) portal.

https://mydocs.emc.com/VNX

It is a great repository of white papers, installation guides, and hardware overviews.  For many of the publications (especially for the various "tasks"), you'll be able to generate a customized document for example specific your VNX model, for tasks such as "Attach a server" it will prompt you for details specific to your environment such as OS, protocol, etc.
