Maximum file size on a CIFS Server
Hello all,
My first post, wow! My first question then...
I am wondering what is the maximum filesize on a CIFS Server of a VNX 5300. I am not talking about filesystem size which seems to be very well documented (16TB max) but there isn't much information about file size :-(
It is a File system of 300GB and I already put files of 4,5GB and it is going fine for now. However untill which size can I go?
Thanks a lot, Max

The maximum file size is also 16 TB or 4 TB if you're using quotas with a filesize quota policy. This is documented in the NAS Support Matrix.
