i used TrueCopy and ShadowImage on Hitachi (Tagma Storage) back in the days. On VNX SnapView Clone is equivalent of Hitachi ShadowImage, it creates full copy clone of your data.
so you have VPLEX sitting in front of your VNX ? VPLEX has a lot of mobility features that i am not familiar with, you might want to ask VPLEX experts here:

The HItachi array are USPVM and AMS2300 and for the transfer LUNs to EMC VNX5700.

Thanks, It's very fiable(en Français) ?
In the new architecture we used VPLEX and VNX5700, but we have two sites A and B for example.
On the site A, we have many LUNs who are TrueCopied to the site B, and one the site B the LUNs TrueCopied are Shadowimaged on the idem site.
For transfert this technologie to VNX, you think it's better to use 'Clone'. For Oracle, SQL etc... it's a good solution ?
