Need to configure FAST VP.
We have a VNX5300 storage with Pool of 7.8TB configured with SAS drives (POOL is as VMWARE datastore), we need to install additional NL SAS drives and want to configure FAST VP.
Need to know the POOL creation with additional NL SAS drives, do we expand the currently configured pool or do we need to create new pool.
how can we configure FAST VP

Thanks to all for reply.
Kindly clarify below queries.
1. should i expand the pool, Raid 5 is configured with 20 hard drives with added NLS hard drives, will mixing of SAS drives & NLS drive supported with expansion option.
2.How can i configure FAST VP on the expanded POOL.
3.Will FAST VP works on different pool, one POOL of SAS drives, another is of NLS drives.

1) did you have a chance to read the thread i linked to earlier ?
2) if FAST VP is already enabled, there is nothing you need to do
3) FAST VP moves "slices" between tiers, on VNX that means you have to have different tiers in the same pool. You could also have two pools where each pool has both SAS and NL-SAS for example.
