SAS Switch and host HBA support>
Does anyone know if there is a way to connect a VNXe 3300 to LSI SAS Switch with SAS HBAs in the host to access a shared storage on the VNXe via the SAS expander port. I have been searching for any documentation or how to or if it even supports the direct connection model. I have been looking at the LSI 6160 SAS switch and LSI 9200e HBAs. However, I cannot find any information on whether the VNXe 3300 supports a configuration of this type and how to set one up.

You can not use SAS ports to connect to hosts/switches. SAS ports are only used to connect to additional Disk Array Enclosures (DAE). Only way to connect VNXe to any hosts for storage access is through ethernet ports.
