Stat for VNX File access to metadata
Hello,
Someone have a solution to collect statistics about metadata access on a VNX5300 File.
There is no counter for in server_stats.

what specifically ?
the number of getattr NFS requests is available in the NFS stats
should be in server_stats as well as in server_nfsstat

Hi Rainer,
The environment is only CIFS.
I would like to know what is the proportion of metadata access.
It is for Isilon sizing to replace VNX.
Customer is a french cartoons maker, then works with 3D Max, etc...

counters and stats for all the different CIFS operations - just try it
the docs dont list all the possible metrics details - there are just too many of them and they are stats getting added from release to release
server_stats has an option to list all available stats
man page also shows some
