Steps to Create Storage Pool for File
I am trying to create a storage pool for file. I am sure I am missing some steps as this VNX 5300 is new to me. When I am in the Storage pools for File and click Create I get the following Message.
This storage system does not have a Template Pool that contains any available space. Is there a guide some where in powerlink that will show me the steps to create a storage pool for file? I created one with the Disk provisioning wizard, however I want more control over what disk are used than the wizard gives me. Thanks.

If you plan to use block (Clariion) pools for use with file (Celerra) then please upgrade to 7.0.35 - its got enhancements to better use them.
Or just created LUNs based on traditional raidgroups manually, add them to the file storage group and use a user-defined (file) storage pool as described in the MVM/AVM manuals.
IHMO traditional radigroups based LUNs give you more control over disk usage than block pools.
