VNX-2 File Pool best practices

Hi All,

Currently have a storage pool with mix of  SSD, SAS, & 2TB NL-SAS drives which contains a storage pool for Block & file (I know that as per the  EMC best practices file and block pool should create separate but this pool was created by Ex employee) on a VNX5200. from this pool they have created 3x8TB drives and allocated to a file pool.

Now customer bought a new DAE with 12x4TB drives. I am planning to create a new pool with R6 (8+2) and 1 drive as a spare. can you suggest me what would be the best way to extend existing file pool with newly created Pool and LUNs.
