VNX 5200 KT Logs getting generated
Hi Admins,
How can I disable creation of these logs ---> "ktlog--20141211-060345-SPA ". I found these logs when I was trying to gather SP collects from my VNX system. The file sizes are almost 100MB each.
How can I check if there is any logging enabled for this ?
VNX Model: 5200
Flare: 5.33
File: 8.1.2
Please suggest.

There is no way to disable/enable the ktlogs. In some cases Engineering/EMC Support needs some of this files. As i remember there is a fixed amount of files which are kept and old onces are automatically deleted

ktlogservice is running on the Storage Processors in order to save the trace buffers to the c:\dumps folder. Each file is about 100MB and about 40 files are stored on a Storage Processor (SP).
So far as I know, they cannot be disabled.
