VNX Block OE Upgrade sequence

I have VNX Block(VNX-5200) running with 05.33.009.5.155 version. So I need to upgrade VNX OE to EMC recommended version that is 05.33.009.5.186.

So which method i need to use to upgrade VNX OE to target code VNX OE 05.33.009.5.186

1: VNX OE Upgrade 05.33.009.5.155 to 05.33.009.5.186

Or

2: : VNX OE Upgrade 05.33.009.5.155 to 05.33.009.5.184 and then 05.33.009.5.186.

And also we have SAS drivers(Hitachi Vendor-HUC10189 CLAR900) running with L7SS firmware version ,can you let me know what is latest firmware for SAS drivers- Hitachi Vendor-HUC10189 CLAR900 model ?

If you install the USM (Unisphere Service Manager) and use that to log into the array, it will provide you with the information that you need to upgrade both the array and the drives - you'll see notifications popping up once you log in the first time. There are two KB's about using USM:
