VNX Migration Permissions Issue

Recently migrated a Mixed Mode windows Cifs share who's permissions are being controled by an group file entry and the windows permissions did not copy correctly. The UNIX permissions look fine. Share was migrated using Celerra Replicator. User has identical sec map entrees on the source and the target.

file system was migrated using celerra replicator. It is not on a VDM, it is a multiprotocol file system.

Explain what you mean with „did not copy properly”

Replicator copies block level – so your copy will have the same owner SIDs and ACLs on the files and directories (NOT on the shares)

How they are resolved and applied of course is controlled by other settings, params, …

Same mount options ?

Also dont forget to check the params – there are several params that govern how multi-protocol works

Was this replicated either between separate datamovers either within the same array or to a separate array?  If so as Rainer has also suggested, I'm thinking dm parameters.  Also, could you explain what you mean by "Share was also migrated by replicator"?
