Open an SR with EMC Support.  They can analyze the dump and provide details.

Hello Saran,

The VNX SP panic / bugcheck dump files should definitely be analyzed by Support / Engineering.

However, as you know the Storage Processors's OS is Windows, and MS Windows machines also generate .dmp files upon crashes / panics. A quick internet search should point you to quite a few dump / bugcheck debugging tools which you can try and use, but the results could be confusing, given that there will be unusual events not associated with normal Windows machines.

Again, opening up an SR with Support, as well as maintaining your VNX at the most up-to-date OE release / patch (newer patches mean more bugcheck reasons fixed) are the best corrective / preventative actions to take.
