VNX2 and EMC VSS Provider

Hi, i use global user account for symcfg authorization and symcfg authorization list view hostname (IP SBA/B) and username.

i added VNX use next way:

symcfg discover -clariion -file C:\AsstDiscoFile

This operation may take up to a few minutes. Please be patient...
Discovering Clariion at SpA: ххх.ххх.ххх.хх and SpB: ххх.ххх.ххх.хх ... Done

where C:\AsstDiscoFile contains SPA IP and SPB IP.

but nothing has changed.

C:\Program Files\EMC\SYMCLI\bin>symcfg list -clariion

What does symcfg authorization return ?

If the results are empty, you'll need to run symcfg authorization add to each sp with the global user account you created;

symcfg authorization add -host spaip -username username -password password

symcfg authorization add -host spbip -username username -password password
