connect vnxe to vcenter on port 444

Hello,

We have a vnxe 3100 and I am trying to get it to talk to our vCenter 5.1 on port 444.  We do not have vCenter setup on standard ports and it seems that the VNXe does not allow you to use non-standard ports.  I have tried 192.168.xxx.xxx:444 and this does not work.  If I point the VNXe at our QA vCenter which is on the default port it works fine.  Does anyone know of a way to specify a non standard port when trying to add vCenter to th VNXe?

Thanks,

David

Currently the VNXe will only work with the default port.

Is there a reason you can't use the default port? We can look at this feature but I would like to understand the use case.

Mark,

We currently have another application running on the box that host vCenter that requires the standard ports.  We were hoping not to have to make changes and or move one of these apps if we could tell the VNXe to use something other than the default port when talking to vCenter.  Looks like we will have to make the changes on the vCenter side.

Thanks for your repsonse.
