how to reduce the access rights of the replica cifs files

Hello

A customer with 2 VNXe 3100 with replication protection suite

All the CIFS replica files are avalaible for all users

How to reduce the access rights of these replica cifs files ?

By default the shares don’t get replicated with VNXe

So if there are user shares (not C$) that make the replica accessible the customer must have created them

You can change these share ACLs – they aren’t part of the file systems

You cannot change ACLs on the destination side of a replication – its readonly

Yes but the experience of the customer is:

"Connected with a non-administrator user and I can go see all the datas under the replica"

How do you access them ?

There shouldn’t be CIFS shares for the replica
