problem configuring aggregation

Hi,

I'm configuring networing on a new vnxe 3100, When I try to setup aggregation I always recive this error

"The changes could not be applied, the following error was encountered:

The system encountered an unexpected error. Record the error code and go to the Product Support Page for all your support options. (Error Code:0x6000003)"

I've tried to setup aggregation on several interface but the problem is always the same.

Is it possible to configure networkin it via ssh or cli?

another question, withc type of lacp or etherchannel shoul I configure on switch?

Thanks

Matteo

Hi,

Today a Emc support man has solved the problem. He've changed some line in a config file in service mode via ssh.

thanks

Hi Matteo,

Please log a service request for the issue with configuring LACP.

Please use the URL https://supportbeta.emc.com/servicecenter/servicecenter_landing.htm for raising a service request.

To take the advantage of port redudency ie configuring LACP, you must be configure it from both VNXe as well as from switch.

I installed SP3 (2.0.3.13400).  I have the same exact problem, SP3 did not help.

I'm going to call support to have them get this fixed.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

Do you have any other errors in the logs? The best option is to do what it says and call phone support so they can take a look.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
