Upload upgrade image to ViPR
Hi all,
I am trying to upload an upgrade image to a ViPR instance using viprcli, but getting the following error when executing the command:
E:\ViPR 1.1>viprcli -hostname ViPR_virtual_ip -cf c:\tmp\rootcookie system upload -imagefile vipr-1.1.0.0.252.img
HTTPSConnectionPool(host='ViPR_virtual_ip', port=4443): Max retries exceeded with url: /upgrade/image/upload
Am I missing something? Can the image be uploaded manually without using viprcli?
Thanks

Hi,
Updating the workaround provided:
1. Upload the image manually to one of the ViPR nodes (node1, for instance)
2. Create the cookie file on /tmp (or somewhere else?
3. Issue your viprcli command, for instance ./viprcli -hostname xx.xx.xx.xx -cf /tmp/rootcookie system upload -imagefile /tmp/vipr-1.1.0.0.252.img
4. Find the image in ViPR
5. Upgrade
Information on upgrading ViPR can be found @ https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-28090

Hi,
It may be best to open an SR with ViPR support to review the issue by WebEx etc...
